New for 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB FioranoThe 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB remains primarily unchanged for the new model year. The sexy coupe continues to feature Ferrari’s most powerful V12 engine which puts out an impressive 620 horsepower. Also available is the Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione (HGTE) package which was introduced in 2009. This takes the already formidable 599 and adds a modified set-up with stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magnetorheological shock absorbers. In addition, ride height is lowered, and tires are optimized using a compound that offers even better grip. The F1 gearbox’s shifts are faster while new engine software has improved accelerator response. HGTE-equipped 599s get distinctive new exterior and interior features with carbon-fiber widely used in the latter, lending the car a more track-inspired look. |
